I may have a caffeine addiction...
I've heard that the first step to fixing a problem is admitting that you have one. Good thing I'm not looking to solve it, just for a quick fix.
I'm obsessed with a few different coffee shops over here, and even though the UK is known for its tea, I haven't had any.
It doesn't help that my hotel room's stocked with a Nespresso machine, milk frother and local coffee pods either...
Union Brew Lab
Off of South College St., it's a perfect stop on your way throughout the city. Their coffee is delicious, and if you get there early enough, you can snag a space to work and table service.
Fortitude
On the other side of the city is one of the tiniest coffee shops I've seen, but that doesn't stop it from being a frequent stop for locals on their way to work or class.
I caught them during a slower time and got some writing done with a delicious espresso by my side.
Em's Kitchen
On my way to Union Brew for the third time this week, I swung by Em's for a quick bite and an espresso martini. Yes, it was after 12... ish. Anyway, while their food wasn't my favorite, drinks are £5 Mon-Thurs, so it was a perfect pick me up!
